“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Luke 2:52

The Bible does not say much about Jesus' youth. It does give a brief snapshot of Him in Luke two. Mary and Joseph were frantically searching for Jesus. They found twelve-year-old Jesus in the house of God where He had spent three days, learning from teachers there. From that moment up until age thirty, all the Bible says is that Jesus grew in wisdom, in stature, in favor with God, and in favor with men. The Bible then fast-forwards eighteen years to Luke 4 when Jesus‚ ministry began. He went to His local church, opened the scriptures and began to read the words prophesied by Isaiah, "The spirit of the Lord has anointed me". In that moment, Jesus saw Himself in the scriptures and knew what He was purposed to do. That revelation was seeded into Him eighteen years earlier during those three days in the temple. Young people today are on a similar journey of discovery to find purpose. Just Jesus did, if they will find themselves in the house of God while young, they will find themselves in the purpose of God in their adult years.

The vision of the Two52 Conference is to build the church of Jesus Christ. We believe this is done effectively through building great leaders and equipping them for great ministry. These great leaders need great teams, which are built by inspiring young people to serve their local churches.

The Two52 Conference creates an atmosphere where leaders and students can get away for three days and grow as Jesus did. They grow in wisdom as they hear great teaching, in stature and favor with men as they do life with new friends, and they grow in favor with God as they experience God moments that leave them forever hungry for God‚s touch. They leave the conference understanding that the touch of God is always for the task of God. We believe that the best way to reach the emerging generation is by training the young to reach the young.

This conference is for all streams and denominations and is open for pastors, ministry leaders, worship leaders, and students.

Wisdom

When Jesus at 12 years of age was found in God’s house, He was doing the Father’s business. Sitting at the feet of His spiritual leaders, Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and men.

Stature

The generation we see rising is committed to renewing their minds through the Word of God. They have a will surrendered to the purpose of God and emotions that are strengthened through the Spirit of God

Favor with God

The generation we see rising is strong in stature, healthy, diligent, prosperous, and have a heart to be great caretakers of the world they live in. This generation is dedicated to their church and church community. They are planted and grounded in the House of God. They are active members, servant leaders, and faithful attendees. Two52 is a generation rising to walk out their destiny with boldness to be all that God has called them to be.

Favor with Men

God thinks generationally. Just open a gospel and you will see His amazing generational plan working its way for hundreds of years, bringing people together to work as one body to advance His purposes on the earth. We have a passion to develop leaders of influence who walk into their destiny and find their purpose, growing in wisdom, and in stature, and in favor with God and with men.
